The Awards
FICCI - India Design Awards has been setup to recognize the most outstanding talent in two categories across India:

• Outstanding contribution by an organization (Design Providers & Users)
• Outstanding talent from the Design and Engineering Schools

The recognition also provides an opportunity to the Entrepreneurs as well as students showcase their ideas to Industry and design fraternity.

Theme
Innovative and user friendly designs have provided many companies an added advantage over their competition. However large numbers of Medium and Small Scale companies still do not practice good design. A good design not only helps in making the bottom line of a company healthier, but it also contributes to the growth of nation’s economy. The Theme of this year’s Submission is ADVANTAGE DESIGN.

FICCI invites design entries from Students and Professional, which are aimed to create a better product experience for Indian consumer in four categories, which are, Automobile, Product, Furniture & Interactive Design.

Jury and Selection Criteria
The entries will be judged by a panel of jury composed of members from design schools, industry and partners of the awards. The jury will choose three winners in each categories, who will be awarded a trophy and prize money. Each entry will be judged on the basis of its Original Concept, Innovation, Creativity, Usability and Marketability.
